Turner GOODWELL, Okla. - Kenneth R. Turner, 57, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Panhandle Centenary United Methodist Church with the Rev. Greg Keith officiating. Arrangements are by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. Mr. Turner served as the assistant professor of Anthropology and Director of the Laboratory for Human Osteology at the University of Alabama from 1974 to 1993. Since that time he had been director of No Man's Land Historical Museum in Goodwell. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; his father, James Turner of Levelland, Texas; and a sister, Becky Albus of Buffalo Gap, Texas. The family suggests memorials be to the endowment fund for No Man's Land Historical Society in care of Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, OK 73942.
