::Elmhurst Cemetery--Guymon OK

The Rev. Horace Terrell Tyson

GUYMON, Okla. - The Rev. Horace Terrell Tyson, 76, died Tuesday, Oct. 
7, 2003, in Lone Wolf.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Sunset Lane Baptist Church with 
the Rev. Jim Hardin of Lone Cherry Baptist Church of Caney, Kan., and 
the Rev. Jim Maynard, associate pastor of Bethel Baptist, 
officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak 
Funeral Directors.

The Rev. Tyson was born Feb. 19, 1927, in Buffalo. He married Ruth 
Naomi Holt on Dec. 26, 1946.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kay Payton of Lone Wolf; a 
son, Harold Tyson of Guymon; a sister, Ruth Hastey of Richmond, Va.; 
a brother, Harry Tyson of Dale, Okla.; four grandchildren; and five 
great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Bethel Baptist Church or Memorial 
Hospital Home Health and Hospice in care of the funeral home, P.O. 
Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
