Bessie Vincent

DALHART - Bessie Vincent, 91, died Friday, July 18, 2003.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church 
of Hartley with the Rev. Roy Almaroad, pastor, and the Rev. Bob 
McAlister, pastor of First Baptist Church of Channing, officiating. 
Arrangements are by Horizon Funeral Home.

Mrs. Vincent was born Nov. 21, 1911, near Hardesty, Okla., to Joseph 
and Pearl Northup Lamkin. She married Roy Vincent on Sept. 13, 1931, in Channing.


Survivors include two sons, Bon Vincent of Dalhart and Pete Vincent 
of Hartley; a sister, Ruth Forehand of Meeker, Okla.; 18 
grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-
grandchildren.
