Bessie Vincent

DALHART - Bessie Vincent, 91, died Friday, July 18, 2003.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church of 
Hartley with the Rev. Roy Almaroad, pastor of the church, and the 
Rev. Bob McAlister, pastor of First Baptist Church of Channing, 
officiating. Burial will be in Hartley Cemetery by Horizon Funeral 
Home.

Mrs. Vincent was born Nov. 21, 1911, near Hardesty, Okla., to Joseph 
and Pearl Northup Lamkin. She married Roy Vincent on Sept. 13, 1931, 
in Channing.

Survivors include two sons, Bon Vincent of Dalhart and Pete Vincent 
of Hartley; a sister, Ruth Forehand of Meeker, Okla.; 18 
grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-
grandchildren.
