John W. Webb

EVA - John W. Webb, 85, died Monday, Aug. 17, 1998.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in James Church of God with Donnie 
Callaway, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery at 
Guymon, Okla., by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

Mr. Webb was born and raised in the Eva community. He farmed and ranched 
until his retirement in 1974. He was a member of James Church of God.

He married Bessie Shores in 1936 at Hugoton, Kan.

He was preceded in death by a son, Leon Webb.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Yvonne Burton of Elkhart, Kan.; 
two sons, Benton Webb of the home and Jerry Webb of the Eva community; a 
brother, C.F. "Red" Webb of Texhoma; a sister, Louise Webb Fairchild of 
Boise City; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to the Morton County Care Center or a 
favorite charity c/o Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, 
Okla. 73942.
