Jerald L. Wadley

GUYMON, Okla. - Jerald L. Wadley, 76, died Tuesday, July 22, 1997.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with Chris 
Trent and the Rev. Mearl Wadley officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst 
Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home.

Mr. Wadley was born in Hedley, Texas. He graduated in 1940 from Tyrone 
High School. He was an active member of Guymon First Baptist Church.

He served with the 101st Airborne during World War II. He was an employee 
of Southwestern Public Service Co., Wadley Chevrolet, Memorial Hospital of 
Texas County and the city of Guymon before retiring in 1990.

Mr. Wadley married Ruth C. Yarberry in 1945 at Guymon.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jerald L. "Jerry'' Wadley Jr. and 
Vance Wadley of Los Angeles; a sister, Lena Stalcup of Tyrone; a brother, 
Mearl Wadley of Owensboro, Ky.; two grandsons; and three great-
grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to the American Cancer Society c/o Bunch-
Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Okla. 73942.
