Marie Weatherford

DALHART - Marie Weatherford, 84, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1998.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery
with the Rev. James Edwards, pastor of Lakeview United Methodist Church,
officiating. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Home.

Mrs. Weatherford was born in Range, Okla., and raised in Guymon. She and
her husband moved to Dalhart in the late 1930s. She was a member of the
Lakeview United Methodist Church.

She married Freeman C. Weatherford in 1934 at Guymon. He died in 1993.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Smith of Wabash, Ind., and Janice
Poe of Dalhart; three sons, Steve Weatherford of Hartley, Dennis
Weatherford of Dumas and Rodger Weatherford of Love Lock, Nev.; three
sisters, Iris Wilkinson of Boise City, Idaho, Pearl Putnam of Canyon and
Alcie Feese of Lucerne Valley, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-
grandchildren.
