"General" Wright, 87, died Monday, March 9, 1998. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Henson-Novak Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Chaffin and the Rev. Shannon Davis of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. in Haviland Cemetery in Haviland, Kan. Mr. Wright was born in Haviland. He married Amy Patton in 1935 at Haviland. They lived in Pratt, Kan., for 20 years. Mr. Wright was associated with Woolwine Supply Co. in Pratt and was a member of the Pratt Volunteer Fire Department. In 1960, they moved to Guymon, where Mr. Wright was manager of the Woolwine's Supply Store. Since retiring, the Wrights have been active in the Panhandle Sam's Club. Mr. Wright was a member of Victory Memorial United Methodist Church and No Man's Land Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Phyllis O'Brien of Nashville, Tenn., and Peggy Carr of Tombstone, Ariz.; a son, Bruce Wright of the Sacramento, Calif., area; nine grandchildren; and eight great- grandchildren. A Harold "General" Wright memorial has been established for the Arthritis Foundation. Memorials will be accepted at Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, Okla. 73942.
