Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Terry Armstrong, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon. Mr. Woolridge was born in Hardesty and graduated from Hardesty High School in 1947. He was employed by and later became a partner of Langston Buick. He then worked for the Guymon public school system as a bus mechanic, retiring in 1993. Mr. Woolridge was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, where he served as an usher and Sunday school teacher. He married Mary Louise Young in 1949 at Clayton, N.M. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Gayle Godwin of Lincoln, Neb. and Crystal Caddell of Guymon; a son, Bryan Woolridge of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Olene Overton of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Yvonne Ralstin of Guymon; and nine grandchildren. A Gayland Woolridge Memorial has been established for the Nazarene Church Building Fund. Memorials will be accepted at the church office or Henson-Novak Funeral Directors, Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
