Nancy Adler, pastor, officiating. Mr. Niebruegge died Friday, May 9, 2003, at his home. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, under direction of Becker Funeral Home of Snyder. He was born July 20, 1916, near Frederick to Herman and Hattie Niebruegge. He married Kathlene Martin on Feb. 7, 1941, in Snyder. For more than 82 years, he lived on the family farm, which was "headquarters" for the farming, cattle and custom harvesting operations he shared with his brother Fred from the early 1940s to the late 1980s and since the early 1970s with his son Kenneth. He was a lifelong member of Mountain Park First United Methodist Church. It was with great pride, and often, that he spoke of the many friends he made over a 40-year period during his custom harvesting runs to western Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming and North Dakota. His only greater source of pride was is family, whom he loved dearly and who, on a continual basis, were reminded of how much he appreciated all they did for him. He was a gentle and proud man with an incessant desire to complete every task he started with perfection. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Kathlene, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Cathy Niebruegge, Snyder; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Michael May, Manassas, Va.; two grandchildren: Karen Beth May, Manassas; Kevin Glenn May and his fiancée, Kimberly Kuhn, Belton, Texas; a great-grandchild, Amber, Snyder; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Ruth Oliver; and a brother, Fred Niebruegge. Memorial contributions May be made to the Fairlawn Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 365, Snyder 73566; to Snyder First United Methodist Church; or Mountain Park First United Methodist Church. Sympathy cards May be sent to the family at www.beckerfuneral.com. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Tillman County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/tillman/tillman.htm
