Stevens FREDERICK — Funeral for Imogene F. Stevens, 80, Frederick, will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tom Peevyhouse and the Rev. Mark Stevens officiating. Mrs. Stevens died Tuesday, May 13, 2003, at an Altus living center. Burial will be at Frederick Memorial Cemetery. She was born Sept. 10, 1927, in Tipton to Edgar A. and Ella N. Burgess Manning. She graduated from Tipton High School in 1940, and attended Draughan’s Business School in Oklahoma City. She married Fred Stevens Jr. on Feb. 11, 1947, in Tipton. She worked with her husband as a truck driver and bookkeeper for Stevens Trucking Company for many years. She was a member of Tipton Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, of the home; two brothers and sisters- in-law: John Manning, Tipton; and Tommy and Juanita Manning, Frederick; a sister and brother-in-law, Rada and Roy Diamond, Conrad, Iowa; four brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Mary Chesser and Tex and Marlene Stevens, all of Frederick; and Johnnie Burt Stevens, Fort Worth, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Rayford Manning.
