D. Cason, died in the Clinton Hospital December 1948, at the age of 73 years, 2 months, and 6 days. He was united in marriage to Della Darden, August 20, 1903, in Denton County, Texas. To this union were born 4 boys and 5 girls, all of whom are living. Left to mourn his passing are his brother, George Cason, of Canton, two sisters, Mrs. Nora Frambough and Mrs. Pearl Nichols, Denton, Texas; four sons, Scott of Canton, A. D. of Grand Junction, Colo, Tilman of Dallas,Texas, and C. B. of Fort Benning, Ga.; five daughters, Mrs. Lora McKnight, Lockney, Texas; Mrs. Lola Potts, Canton, Texas, Mrs. Eula Ely, Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Amos Barber of Grandfield, and Mrs. Millard Suttles, Los Angeles, Calif., 19 grand children, one great grandaughter and a number of other relatives and a host of friends. Mr. Cason lived in Grandfield in 1922 and made his home until the death of his wife in 1943. He then moved to Waurika and in 1948 moved to Canton and made his home with his son, Scott. Funeral Services were held at Grandfield and burial at Walters Cemetery by the side of his wife on December 7, 1948.
