All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Rush Springs Cemetery--Rush Springs OK Louise Chambers, 78, of Rush Springs died Tuesday, January 18, 2000 in Grace Living Center in Chickasha. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 21, in the chapel of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Rush Springs with the Rev. Elmer Whitehead officiating. Music will be provided by Junior Hale and Wanda Halbert. Burial will be in Rush Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Chambers was born May 22, 1921, in Pilot Point, Texas, the daughter of W.P. McDowell and Pannie Mae (Prichard) McDowell. She was married to Otto C. Chambers in Grandfield on July 27, 1951. He died December 4, 1989. She had lived in Rush Springs since 1962 and was a housewife. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church of Rush Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother. Survivors include one daughter, Patsy Evins of Rush Springs; one son, James Sisk of Clear City, Utah; two sisters, Effie Sherman of Frederick and Princess Townsend of Chickasha; two brothers, Thomas McDowell of Frederick and George McDowell of San Diego, California; a niece, Clarsey Chambers of Alex; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
