Mr. Cook died Sunday, June 15, 2003, in Galveston, Texas. ========= Lawton Constitution 18 Jun 2003 Tom Cook BAYTOWN, Texas - Funeral for former Frederick resident Tom Cook, 53, Baytown, Texas, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Burkhardt Chapel, Frederick Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Cook died Sunday, June 15, 2003, in Guy, Texas. Arrangements are by Navarre Funeral Home, Baytown, Texas. Local arrangements are by Gray Gish Funeral Home, Frederick. He was born Oct. 1, 1949, in Frederick, to Frank and Pearl Cook. He grew up in Frederick and graduated from Frederick High School in 1968. He later moved to Tulsa, where he worked as a salesman for a tool company. In 1990, he moved to Baytown, Texas, where he worked in oil field construction. He was a member of the Round Knights of the Square Table in Baytown, Texas. Survivors include four brothers: Robert Cook, St. Mary's, Ga.; Ron Cook, Jacksboro, Texas; Richard Cook, Arlington, Texas; and Roger Cook, Alvord, Texas; a sister, Linda Cook, Blue Ridge, Ga.; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ricky Cook. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tom Cook Memorial Fund at Southwest Bank of Texas, P.O. Box 27459, Houston, TX 77227.
