Graveside service: 1 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Park, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth. Memorials: Those wishing to send memorials may make donations to the Alzheimer's Association, Houston and Southeast Texas Chapter, 2242 W. Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030-2008, or www.alz.org. She was born Aug. 18, 1919, in Frederick, Okla., to Rawdon and Alta Tomlinson. She was a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and friend. As a child, she worked in her parents' Frederick store, which became one of the original TG&Y stores. Peggy followed her sisters and best friends, Elaine and Nadine, to Oklahoma State University and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She married Maj. Ruel N. Guinn in 1945 and together they made a loving home for their son, Kyle. Peggy was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 53 years; her sister, Elaine; her brothers-in-law, Bud Perkins and Kenneth Guinn; and sisters-in-law, Beth Tomlinson and Merle Thompson. Survivors: Son, Kyle Guinn and his wife, Hennen; grandsons, Clay Guinn and his wife, Kami, of Houston and Jack Guinn of Austin; sister, Nadine Perkins of Ardmore, Okla.; brother, Milton Tomlinson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
