In 1875, she was married to Jesse Story and to this union, one daughter was born, Mrs. Walter Dosher who survives. Mr. Story passed away in 1878. In 1880, she was married to John Taylor and to this union eight children were born, six of whom aare living. Mr. Taylor passed away in 1895. The family lived in Missouri and Arkansas and in 1904, Mrs. Taylor came to Oklahoma to live with her children. Mrs. Taylor is survived by these children: Mrs. Walter Dosher of Farwell, Texas; John Taylor of Eden, Idaho; Fred Taylor of Jerome, Idaho; Albert Taylor of Texaco, New Mexico; Homer Taylor of Conogo, California; Elmer Taylor and Mrs. J. K. Askew, both of Tipton. Albert Taylor and family of Texaco, New Mexico; and Mr. and Mrs. Travis Leach and family and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor and family of Graham, Texas were the out of town relatives who attended the funeral rites. Burial was made in Tipton Cemetery with Benton Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Taylor held a wide friendship and was always spoke of as one of the communities lovely characters. She will be greatly missed among her friends." Grandma's maiden name was HAMMONS instead of Hamond, and her daughter with Mr. Story was named Minerva. Her death date was: 12-19-1939.
