All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Redwood Memorial Cemetery--West Jordan UT Parker, Geraldine Murray Geraldine Murray Parker ³Geri² was born on December 31, 1913 in Grandfield, Oklahoma, to Clara Booth and Thomas Littleton Hubbard and passed away Friday, February 23, 2007. She married and divorced John Edmund Donaldson and married and divorced Paul Raymond Murray and then married the late Charles L. Parker. She lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, most of her adult life. She retired to Sun City, Arizona. where she was an original member of the Sun City, Arizona, Poms. She later moved back to Salt Lake City. Geri loved golf, dancing and watching Tiger Woods. She loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherperson. She was devoted to her family and loved them all unconditionally. She wanted to especially acknowledge her granddaughter, Susan, for her care and devotion to her. Geri is survived by her daughters: Pat (Dick) Adair, Sandy; Donna Kirkeby of Portland, Oregon; and her son, Michael (Vicky) Murray of Salt Lake City, Utah. She has fourteen grandchildren: Brent, Mark (Theresa), Rick and Susan Adair (Steve Breitling), Shawn (Sharon), Craig (Tricia), Brian Kirkeby, Maureen (Ron) Delevan, Michael Paul (Shauna) Murray and Suzanne Murray, Chad (Barbara) Ames, Mindi (Lanny Garside, Michelle (Jason) Brady and Michael Ames. She has fifteen great grandchildren and brother-in-law, Arnold Avitabile. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters: Cleda Hubbard, Blanche (Cecil) Glazner, Lorene Avitabile; her brother, Allen Hubbard. The family wishes to thank the staff at Wentworth at Cottonwood Heights and her Silverado Hospice nurses for their loving care of our mother. A special thanks to Tiffany of Silverado Hospice for her devotion to mother for the last 10 months. She was like a daughter to our mother. Graveside services was held Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. She lived in Salt Lake City most of her adult life and retired to Sun City where she was an original member of the Sun City Poms. She later moved back to Salt Lake City. She loved golf, dancing and watching Tiger Woods. She loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherperson. She was also a licensed pilot and a member of the 99ers, a women's pilot association. She was devoted to her family and loved them all unconditionally. She wanted to especially acknowledge her granddaughter, Susan, for her care and devotion. She is survived by daughters Pat (Dick) Adair, Sandy; Donna Kirkeby, Portland, Oregon; and son, Michael (Vicky) Murray of Salt Lake City. She has 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and a brother-in-law Arnold Avitabile. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Parker, three sisters and one brother.
