Mrs. Patton, 88, Dies In Home Here

   Mrs. Vera Rogers Patton, 88, died Sunday at her home at 1302 West Indiana Street, following an extended
illness.

     Funeral services were held at 9:00 A.M. today in the Newnie W. Ellis Chapel with Dr. Timothy Guthrie, pastor
of the First Methodist Church, officiating.  Graveside services and interment were scheduled at 5:00 P.M. today
in Frederick, Oklahoma.

     Mrs. Patton lived in Frederick and Tulsa, Oklahoma before moving to Midland 14 years ago.

     Survivors include a son, Roger R. Patton of Oklahoma City, a daughter, Mrs. A. W. Wood of Midland, a brother
D. D. Rogers of Frederick, and three grandchildren.
