Iris Kathleen Roberts

QUANAH - Iris Kathleen Roberts, 83, died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Quanah Memorial Park by Price-Jackson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Roberts was born in Foard County and had lived in Quanah for 62 years. For 29 years, she owned a flower shop and for many years, taught Sunday school at First United Methodist Church, where she was a member. She was also a member of the PTA, Home Demonstration Club, Order of Eastern Star, 1904 Club, the Garden Club and was a national accredited flower judge in the area.
She married Earl Curtis "Jake" Roberts in 1937 at Frederick, Okla. He died in 1974.
Survivors include two sons, John Roberts of Iowa Park and Kenny Roberts of Quanah; two sisters, Jean Walsh of Tyler and Lois Berre of Quanah; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be to Methodist Home in Waco.
