Tulsa Daily World. (Tulsa, Indian Terr.), Vol. 7, No. 141, Ed. 1 Thursday, February 29, 1912
	A very pretty wedding was solemnized yesterday morning at 10 o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Dawson, 
1306 South Cheyenne avenue, when their daughter, Miss Leah Dawson became the bride of Mr. W.A. Brummett.
	Rev. H.B. Vaught, pastor of the Tigert Memorial church, officiated at the ceremony which was witnessed by but 
a few relatives and friends of the contracting parties.  Preceding the ceremony, Mrs. H.D. Murdock sang “O, Promise Me,” 
at the conclusion of which the approach of the bridal party was announced by the beautiful strains of Lohengrin’s “Wedding 
March.”
	The bride was attractively gowned in a beautiful embroidered lingerie dress.  Her traveling suit was a handsome 
tailored affair, with hat, shoes and gloves to match.
	Immediately after congratulations, an elegant wedding breakfast was served to sixteen guests, the decorations of 
the table being beautiful pink and white carnations and smilax.
	The happy pair were the recipients of a number of very handsome wedding gifts.
	Mr. and Mrs. Brummett left on a morning train for Oklahoma City where they will spend a short honeymoon, remaining 
there about a week, when they will return to Tulsa to make their home.  They are both popular young Tulsans and have a 
host of friends who are extending them best wishes.
