(Tulsa, Indian Terr.), Vol. 7, No. 174, Ed. 1 Sunday, April 7, 1912 The home of Mrs. T.W. Perryman on South Cincinnati avenue, was the scene of a pretty, quiet wedding Wednesday evening when at 6:30 o’clock Mr. Merle V. Cadman and Miss Jennie McElroy were united in marriage by Rev. C.W. Kerr. Mrs. Perryman and Mr. Walter Perryman were the only witnesses, the occasion being kept a secret until later in the evening, when Mrs. Perryman entertained a dozen or more friends of the happy couple with a delightful informal party. During the serving of a dainty supper at 10:30 o’clock, pretty place cards, to which were attached carnations, and engraved with the names, “Jennie McElroy and Merle V. Cadman,” and the date “April 3, 1912, 6:30 p.m.” revealed the news of the wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Cadman will reside in Tulsa, where both have many friends, and where Mr. Cadman is well known, being associated with the Tulsa State bank. Guests of Mrs. Perryman for the evening were: Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Nixon, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Perryman, Misses Lottie Smiley, Eva Shidley, Fay Elliott, Zella Bynum, Messrs. Walter Perryman, Billy Smith, Roy Garbett and William B. West.
