Business was heavy at the marriage license counter in the courthouse yesterday, the heaviest Monday business having been recorded for several weeks. Five licenses were issued as follows: To John H. Hopkins, 31, and Ethel Jones, 20, both of Broken Arrow; Walter M. Herriff, 33, and Anna Baughman, 24, both of Tulsa; Jake Higgenbothem, 25, and Jennette McGee, 24, both colored and of Tulsa; Leslie Gaines, 24, and Rebecca Jeffries, 20, both of Broken Arrow; Robert B. Bailey, 38, of Tulsa and Ada M. Jones, 37, of Sapulpa.
