(Tulsa, Indian Terr.), Vol. 7, No. 80, Ed. 1 Wednesday, December 20, 1911 One of the prettiest home weddings of the winter season was that of Miss Edna Gertrude Gibbons, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira H. Gibbens, 718 South Guthrie avenue, and Mr. Roy E. Lind, which occurred at the pretty Gibbens home last evening at 7:00 o’clock. To the beautiful strains of Mendelssohn’s Wedding March played by Professor Maxey, the bridal couple, attended by Mr. and Mrs. Scott Murdock, approached the marriage altar, where they were met by the Rev. Percy Knickerbocker, who performed the beautiful ring ceremony of the M.E. Church. The Gibbens’ home was beautifully decorated throughout with palms and red and pink carnations, the color scheme being pink and white in all the decorations of the home. The bride’s wedding gown was a beautiful white Marquisette over cream silk with shoes and gloves to match. Immediately after the ceremony an elegant wedding feast was served in six courses. Mr. and Mrs. Lind were the recipients of many very handsome gifts. They will be at home to their friends in their own home at 1607 South Boulder avenue. Both young people are very popular and have a host of friends in Tulsa, who are extending them heartiest congratulations. The guest list included only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. John H. Arnold, Mr. and Mrs. S. Bopst, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Gibbens, Mr. and Mrs. N.S.
