(Tulsa, Indian Terr.), Vol. 6, No. 251, Ed. 1 Friday, July 7, 1911 Sapulpa Judge Married Sapulpa, Okla., July 6 – Judge J. Harvey Smith, Judge of the Municipal Court, and Mrs. Belle Wilkerson, also of this city, put one over on their friends when they went to Muskogee July 4th, on what they termed a celebrating trip, but which really turned out to be their wedding trip. The announcement when they returned today, of their marriage was not much of a surprise, as their friends have been guessing for some time that it was drawing near? Judge Smith is known to almost every man, woman and child in Sapulpa. He came here from Indiana several years ago and engaged in the practice of law, in which he has been successful. His bride formerly lived at Mounds, but has been a bookkeeper in this city for several years.
