(Tulsa, Indian Terr.), Vol. 6, No. 211, Ed. 1 Friday, June 2, 1911 The marriage of Harriet, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Robertson, and Mr. Ariel Smittle was celebrated Wednesday evening at the Robertson country home. A color scheme of pink and white was used in the decorations. Roses and carnations were the flowers used, and an arch fashioned from these flowers overhung the entrance to the marriage room, and it was here the couple stood while taking the vows. Rev. C.W. Sifferd read the ceremony at eight o’clock and following the service refreshments in the colors of pink and white were served. The bride wore a gown of white embroidered net over silk and carried a shower bouquet of valley lilies and sweet peas. The full length veil was caught with lilies of the valley. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Medford, Mrs. H.L. Smittle, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Smittle, son Ray, Mr. and Mrs. H. Smittle and daughter Doris, Messrs. Heber and Lawrence Smittle, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Devinna and son Maurice, jr, Albion, Wesley, Allem and Georgia Robertson and daughter Florence, Miss Ruby Kennedy, Mr. John Kennedy, Miss Gladys McAdams of Sulphur. Miss McAdams and Miss Kennedy assisted during the evening.
