Tulsa Daily World. (Tulsa, Indian Terr.), Vol. 5, No. 308, Ed. 1 Wednesday, September 14, 1910
	This evening at 7 o’clock at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Magee will be solemnized 
the marriage of Miss Vance Graves and Mr. J.T. Stockton of Houston, Texas.  Rev. J.C. Magee will 
read the ceremony which will be attended with quiet simplicity.  Miss Graves will wear a gown of 
white organdie over a silk slip and finished with val lace.  Following the ceremony a wedding 
luncheon will be served after which Mr. and Mrs. Stockton will leave for Houston, their future 
home.  The bride’s going away gown is a smartly tailored creation of gray with hat, gloves and 
shoes entone.  Miss Graves came to this city four years ago from Harrison, Ark., and since that 
time has been in the law offices of the Magees.  She is universally loved both in the business 
world and with a large circle of friends and because of loving interest felt by friends in such 
large numbers the wedding comes as a pleasant bit of news and a surprise.  The groom is among 
the business men of his home city and is held with the esteem that true worth brings.  He is 
just returning from New York and stopped here to claim his bride.  The very best of wishes 
accompany Mr. and Mrs. Stockton to their new home.

	Marriage licenses were granted yesterday to the following couples:  Frank Duncan and 
Virginia Light, both of Tulsa; H. James Stockton of Bay City, Texas, and Vance Lucile Graves, 
Tulsa; Tom Pate and Martha Keith, both of Keifer.
