ADOLPH -- Georgia, age 92, passed away May 9, 2001. Born on November 24, 
1908 in Oktaha, OK. Loving Homemaker and Mother. Survived by: 
husband, Lysle D. Adolph, Sr.; sisters, Lottie Enos, Opal Thrasher, 
and Cornelia Wallace; grandsons and wives, Dr. Gary and Dr. Kathleen 
Adolph, Jeffery and Lisa Adolph, Dr. Chris and Dr. Jennifer Adolph; 
grandson, Greg Adolph; granddaughter, Janis Burress and husband, Danny; 
15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; many other relatives. 
Preceded in death by: sons, Lysle D. Adolph, Jr. and Onie Joe Adolph; 
2 sisters, and 1 brother. 
Funeral Chapel. Interment Resthaven Cemetery, Sperry.

GEORGIA ADOLPH

OCNS - May 12, 2001 - Funeral services for Georgia Adolph, 92, of Turley, 
Oklahoma, will be held Monday, May 14, at 10:00 a.m., in the Johnson 
Funeral Chapel, 222 South Cincinnati, Sperry, Oklahoma.

The Reverend Donald Moseby, Pastor of the Maranatha Baptist Church will 
officiate and burial will be in the Rest Haven Cemetery in Sperry.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Adolph's grandsons: Dr. Chris Adolph, Greg 
Adolph, Jeff Adolph, Dr. Gary Adolph, Jim Grayson and Jim Norris.

Mrs. Adolph was born November 24, 1908, in Oktaha, Oklahoma, the daughter 
of Onie Finnigan and Melinda (Johnson) Finnigan and died May 9, 2001.

Survivors include: Her husband, Lysle D. Adolph, Sr., of the home; 
sisters, Lottie Enos and Cornelia Wallace, both of Coweta, Oklahoma and 
Opal Thrasher of Tulsa.

Grandsons: Dr. Gary Adolph and wife, Dr. Kathleen Adolph of Beggs, 
Oklahoma; Jeffery Adolph and wife, Lisa of Austin, Texas; Greg Adolph of 
Morris, Oklahoma; Dr. Chris Adolph and wife, Dr. Jennifer Adolph of Bixby, 
Oklahoma.

Granddaughter, Janis Burress and husband, Danny of Tulsa; fifteen great 
grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews 
and other relatives (including sisters-in-law, Marie Adolph Pemberton and 
Doris Adolph Engle and brother-in-law, Gene Adolph, all of Pawhuska, 
Oklahoma) and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Onie and Melinda Finnigan and 
sons, Lysle D. Adolph, Jr., and Onie Joe Adolph, two sisters and one 
brother.

Georgia was a loving wife, mother and homemaker and her family was the 
center of her love.
