She passed away Wednesday, Jan.16, 2008, in Tulsa. Shae was preceded in death by husband Lester Lee Stringfellow, daughter Joyce Arlene Stringfellow, parents Otis Lee Copeland and Rosie Ellen Henson-Copeland; stepmother Mary Verna Marshall-Copeland, three sisters Helen Hayes, Annabell Looney and Louisa Dumond; brothers Frank Copeland, Chester Copeland, and Elmer Copeland. She is survived by three brothers; Bobby Copeland, Henry Copeland, and Jess Copeland; four children and their spouses Lois Marlene and Theodore "Ted" Bennett of McAlester, Daniel Lee and Yvonne Stringfellow of Tulsa, Stephen Lester and Angelia Stringfellow of McAlester, and Anna Jean and John Patterson of Oakhurst, 16 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends anf other relatives. "Faye" was a minister of the gospel and helped pioneer Midway Full Gospel Church from an old-fashioned brush arbor with Lawrence and Mary Ragsdale and Leroy and Robbie Swell. Faye was a member of Midway Full Gospel Church for 53 years. Faye was a faitful housewife and s dedicated mother who brought her children up in the fear of the Lord. Faye enjoyed gospel singing and loved to spend time with family and friends. She will be missed by family and friends, but they have the comfort of knowing that she lived for the Lord and is in heaven today with her husband and baby; but more importantly our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Services for Faye will ne held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan.18,2008, at Midway Full Gospel Church in Oakhurst with Pastor Lonnie Duckett officiating. The Rev. Leroy Sewell will read the obituary, and songs will be provided by Jeanie Hartman, Bonnie Duckett and Lonnie Duckett. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa. Pallbeares will be Brandon Exendine, Jesse Exendine, Howard Harger, Robert Gobble, Josh Lary, Eric Stringfellow, Mathew Stringfellow and Shane Gates. Funeral services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa.
