Al was preceded in death by: his mother, Patricia Cynova; daughter, Leslie Kennedy; and father-in-law, Eldon Rowley. He is survived by: his daughter, Courtney Kennedy and former wife, Connie Roberts, both of Dallas; mother-in-law, Clara Rowley of Fairland; sisters-in-law, Janet Brewster and JoJo Nichols and their families, all of Broken Arrow. He is also survived by many friends who were a part of his family including Russell Gale, Larry Roberts, Keith Walker, Wally Richmond, Ronnie Watson, Bill Weiland, Allan Ballerini; and many others who knew Al's kind spirit and generosity and put him in a special place in their hearts. It would be impossible to list them all. Al moved to Tulsa from Chicago in 1961 to attend the University of Tulsa where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. He later transferred to and graduated from his beloved Oklahoma State University. Alvin was a loyal alumnus and a devoted fan and active supporter of his Cowboy teams. Al fought his illness hard and saw Cowboy football through the last game of the century. During his long career in, as he still called it, "Data Processing", he was employed by Cities Service, Amerada Hess, Williams Brothers Engineering, Buckeye Gas, Ferrellgas, MCI WorldCom and others. He was a long time member of DPMA. Al was loved by many and will be missed by his family, friends and many whose hearts he touched. Service will be held at the Floral Haven Chapel on Wednesday, January 5, 2000 at 10 a.m. The family will be receiving guests in Alvin's home on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Alvin's name payable to the Oklahoma State University General Scholarship Fund, P.O.
