BAIRD -- Alpha Blanch, 92, of Tulsa, passed away May 6, 2001. She 
was born December 5, 1908, in Shawnee, OK to William W. and Anna 
Maude Ferguson. She retired from Tidewater Oil Company. Alpha enjoyed 
playing bingo and dominos with family and friends. She was preceded 
in death by: her husbands, Harold Laidley in 1969 and Sam Baird in 
1996. She was also preceded in death by: her sisters, Letha Almeta 
Kirk, Dorothy Cates and Vivian Parkinson. She is survived by: her 
sister, Lorraine Perry of California; nephews, Ladell Kirk, Ralph 
Ferguson and Bill Perry; and nieces, Sharon Kirk and Nancy Perry. 
Internment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
