He was the son of T.L. Bankston of 1128 South St. Louis Avenue, and grew to manhood in Tulsa, having come to this city with his parents, when a small boy, from Muskogee where he was born. He was married and leaves the wife, Cleo Bankston, and five children; three daughter, Virginia, LaVetta, and Clara Mae; two sons, Frank and Bert; one sister, Edna Spencer, 4806 West Fifty-seventh street, and the father, T.L. Bankston. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternood from the Epworth Methodist church in Red Fork with Rev. Jimmie Glasgow officiating, assisted by Rev. M.C. Abercrombie, pastor of Epworth church. Interment followed in Red Fork cemetery under the direction of the Tulsa funeral home.
