He was born in North Hollywood, CA on April 21, 1973. At a very young age Don and Linda Kaye (Thompson) Grogan adopted Chuck and he was raised in the Council Hill area as a child. During that time he attended the Abundant Life Church. Chuck really enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting. He really loved being involved with the youth ministry of his church, and loved the youth. He was married to Barbara (Ratterree), and they had been members of the Breakthrough Church in Tulsa before moving to Haskell. Those preceding Chuck in death were his mother Linda Kaye Grogan on August 1, 2002; sister Carol; and his niece Misty. Those left to cherish his memories and who loved him dearly are his dad Don Grogan of Council Hill; wife Barbara of the home; 4 sons; Elisha Grogan, Gavin Ratterree, Torrey White and Eldon White all of Haskell; 1 daughter Kayla Bruckman of Haskell; maternal grandmother Cora West of Okmulgee;one brother Kenneth Grogan of Tulsa; 3 sisters Cheryl Grogan of Tulsa, Traci Sharp of Checotah and Natalie Grogan of Council Hill; 3 nieces and 7 nephews; 3 special friends Joseph Eversole, Daniel Turner and Trish; and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him very much. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the Abundant Life Church, Council Hill, with Ervin Londagin and Brian Londagin officiating. Burial will follow in Council Hill Cemetery with Bradley Sanders, Billy Ratterree, Gavin Ratterree, Daniel Turner, Brian Londagin and Joseph Eversole serving as casket bearers. Honorary casket bearers will be Robert Ratterree and Johnny Grogan. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, April 25th, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Hampton Mortuary, 211 W. Okmulgee, Checotah, OK 74426 918-473-6821.
