Cammie Lee Lantz Cammie Lee Lantz died at Alderson Convalescent Hospital, Woodland Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004 at age 95. Mr. Lantz was born June 6, 1909 in Tulsa, Okla. and had been a Yolo County resident for 65 years. He worked with the Conservation Corps and during World War II worked in the Fairfax shipyards as a welder. After the war, he worked as a farmhand. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association. Survivors include Mr. Lantz's son, Fred Lantz and his wife Barbara of Esparto and seven stepgrandchildren, his sisters Marian Nave of Colorado and Clara Moore of Vacaville, and sister-in-law Leona Lantz of Grainsville, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his wife Neva Ruby Lantz. The family requests memorials in Mr. Lantz's name be directed to Esparto Fire House, P.O. Box 110, Esparto, 95627 or to the charity of donor's choice. Services: A graveside service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16 at Capay Cemetery in Esparto with inurnment to follow. After the service a celebration of Mr. Lantz's life will be at the Esparto Community Service Hall, 27228 State Highway 16, Esparto. McNary's Chapel of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
