Diffee, 51, of 2001 S. Cedar, Sapulpa, died Tuesday at Bartlett Memorial Medical Center. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Friday, at Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Bixby Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. He was born Oct. 3, 1941, in Tulsa. He married Anita Jennings on Sept. 11, 1983, in Las Vegas, NV. Diffee served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Sapulpa Chamber of Commerce. He owned Sapulpa Auto Sales. Survivors include his wife, Anita; step-mother, Bernadine Diffee of Oakhurst; son, Wayne A. Diffee of Birmingham, AL; step-sons, Ricky Taber and Scott Byrd, both of Tulsa; step-daughter, Katrina Fox of Osage; brothers, Alfred Andrew Diffee Jr. and Thomas Joseph Diffee, both of Oakhurst, Clarence William Jones of Seattle, WA; sisters, Barbara Rutledge of Oakhurst, Alene Overton of Fort Smith, AR, and Betty Wolfe of Dallas; and six grandchildren. Diffee were held at 2 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Chapel with Rev. Cliff Morrison and Rev. Danny Perkins officiating. Casketbearers were Chuck Tudor, Tim Shepherd, Phil Furstenberg, Muirl Hunter, Randy Lawhorn and Dan Fields.
