GRIFFITH COACH'S FOOTBALL TEAM TO BE HONORARY PALLBEARERS Funeral services for Walter B. Griffith, Clinton High School football coach, who died Monday morning at a hospital as a result of a ruptured appendix, were to be held at the First Christian Church at 2 p.m. today. Dr. Claude E. Hill, Pastor of the church, was to conduct the services and burial was to be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Robert McBirney Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were to be Otis Wile, D.M. Roberts, Carl Sears, Howard Briggs, Frank Brisco, and Grady Skillern. Members of Coach Griffith's championship football team of this fall were the honorary pallbearers. Frances Litell, Helen Hughes and Lorna Troup, Clinton teachers, were to sing special numbers.
