Born January 30, 1929 to Wilson and Jane Wofford in Christie, OK. She attended public schools of Oklahoma, Haskell Institute in Lawrence, KS, and later earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Tulsa. She served in the Women's Army Corps in Virginia, Massachusetts and Texas. She is survived by: her sons, Kurt Campbell and Tracy Campbell and their wives, Kathy and Tina; by a sister, Evelyn Pickett and a niece, Regan Pickett of Virginia; and brother, Charles Wofford and nephew, Steven Wofford of Michigan; also 3 grandchildren and various cousins. Jo worked in various positions in Tulsa, retiring from CE Natco in 1986. After retirement she became active in the Tulsa Running Club, Senior Olympics, local golf association, bridge groups and the Sooner Gals Basketball team. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 6 at Butler-Stumpff Chapel, 2103 East 3rd Street (599-7337).
