She was born January 29, 1927 in Locust Grove to John Weaver and Bertha Eliza (Brown) Wagoner. She married Robert Eugene Duck on August 28, 1946 in Independence, Kansas. Together they pastored many churches in Missouri and Oklahoma. They pastored and owned the Deerwood Faith Fellowship in rural Kellyville prior to her retirement. She enjoyed painting, gardening and fishing. June was also a poet and gospel song writer as well as a pianist. She sang with her family for many years. She nurtured many nieces and young ladies, several of whom lived with them as they grew up. She loved playing Uno and dominos. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and siblings, Mary Caudle, Bud Wagoner, Rosie Capps, Alice Ashworth, Johnny Wagoner and Arnold Wagoner. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Darrell Gilliam of Tulsa, three grandchildren, Jill York of Oolagah, Jarod Gilliam of Tulsa, and Jeremy Gilliam of Oolagah, seven great grandchildren, Alec, Riyah, Abbey, Rebecca, Rachel, Jordan and Zoe. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, September 20, 2007 at the First Assembly of God Church in Beggs with Reverend Bruce Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Jill York, Jeremy Gilliam, Jarod Gilliam, Jay York, Danny Duck and Alec Brunson. Friends may visit the funeral home from 11-8 on Wednesday.
