JAMES ROY SPESS, 93, 1831 E. 16th Place, Tulsa passed away Sunday September 24, 1989. 
He was born April 22, 1896. Mr. Spess was a retired general contractor. He is survived 
by five daughters: Ruth Morris, Rebecca Prather and Emma Wixson, all of Tulsa; Ramona 
Krotzer, Cleveland, OK and Marjorie Stegemeier, Anaheim, CA. His wife, 
Lily I. Raifsnyder Spess died on February 18, 1985. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren 
and 26 great-grandchildren. Services 2:00 p.m. Tuesday Moore’s Memory Chapel. 
Interment Oak Hill Cemetery, Mannford.
