Kohn The funeral for Lorraine M. Kohn will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hull & Hull Chapel in Grants Pass. The Followers of Christ will officiate. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens in Medford. Mrs. Kohn, 75, of Grants Pass, died Saturday (Dec. 28, 2002) at her home. She was born Lorraine Marie Underwood on March 14, 1927, in Tulsa, Okla. She moved to Grants Pass when she was young and attended Grants Pass schools. On Sept. 11, 1943, in Grants Pass, she married Melvin "Bill" Kohn, who died in 1997. They moved to Medford after he was discharged from the service. They returned to Grants Pass in 1995. Mrs. Kohn was a member of the Followers of Christ church. She enjoyed crocheting, music, playing the organ and traveling with her friend, Betty. Survivors include two daughters, Dee Elder, Everett, Wash., and Pat Halsey, Chico, Calif.; a sister, Neoma "Skeeter" Jones, Roseburg; three brothers, Vern Caldwell, Sunny Valley, Gene Caldwell, in Arizona, and Kenneth Caldwell, Helena, Mont.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters. Friends may pay their respects from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at Hull & Hull Funeral Directors, Grants Pass.
