Agee 87, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died on Sunday, September 30, 2007. He was born on December 26, 1919 in Hasty, Arkansas to Harrison and Ola Braden Agee. Lennie graduated from high school in Morris, Oklahoma in 1937. He attended the Vocational Training School at Oklahoma A & M in Stillwater, OK, studying Aircraft Engine Mechanics. He then attended Okmulgee Junior College. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps on December 19, 1942, and served as Line Chief with the Air Transport Command in Houlton, Maine and Goose Bay, Labrador, attaining the rank of Master Sergeant. Shortly after his discharge he went to work for Central national Bank9 now First National Bank of Okmulgee and Henryetta. After being there for nine years, he was employed by the U.S. Treasury Dept, Bond Division, staying there until his retirement in 1982. Lennie was a resident of Tulsa since 1956 and moved to Bartlesville in April of 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Earl Agee and sisters Alma Tudor of Okmulgee, and Ruby C. Oates of Bartlesville. He is survived by his nephew Earl J. Agee of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be at 1 pm on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home.
