MARKHAM -- Olene Brunetta , 83, went to be with the Lord on May 6, 2001. 
Mrs. Markham was born April 9, 1918 in Gadsden, AL. She graduated from 
Gadsden High School in 1935 and then earned a Secretarial certificate 
from Massey Business College in Birmingham, AL in 1936. Olene was 
employed as a Legal Secretary in Birmingham and Tulsa from 1936-1957. 
In Tulsa she worked for both Midstates and Gulf Oil Companies. Olene 
became a homemaker in 1957, raising 2 children and actively serving in 
numerous ministries as a member of the First Baptist Church. In 1975, 
she joined Oklahoma Natural Gas Company, and in 1980 she transferred to 
ONEOK Exploration Company. She retired from her position as Manager of 
Contract Administration in 1983. Olene was a loving and dedicated wife, 
mother and grandmother. Survived by: a daughter and son-in-law, Anne and 
Terry Coffman of Tinley Park, IL; son and daughter-in-law, William D. 
and Vickie Markham of Houston, TX; 3 grandchildren, Melanie Hoyt of 
Tinley Park, and Bradley and Kristin Markham of Houston, TX; 4 great-nieces 
and nephews, Doug Elzy, Steven Elzy, Tim Elzy and Kathi Voumard. 
Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
