Passage You walk through a shrouded forest Dimly lit by strands of sunlight Spilling down through the trees Starkly outlined against the sky Shredded clouds Tossed by gusty winds Skimming by Against the azure blue Tangled growth overrun the path Seeming to grow, as you walk by The forest abounds with sound And movement of creatures unseen The path winds Through ancient giants of wood Huge And gnarled with age The smell of enriched earth Surrounds you as you walk quietly through Breathing deeply you inhale The richness of mellowed time This mantle of trouble and grief Slide from your shoulders Like a cape to the ground You can see clearer now Eternity surrounds you With solace and safety You hear the singing of water bubbling over stones Laughing its way to the sea You feel one with the forest The green of trees and the blue of sky The crystal of water And the red earth beneath your feet The call of endless time around you You are at peace Be at peace, Daddy and Willene I love you Charlene Holland The Tulsa World  MORROW - Willene Adriana, 60 died Thursday.
