ANDERSON -- Nola Wilson, Musician and homemaker, 98, born February 13, 1908 in 
Cherokee, OK and died Thursday, December 21, 2006, in Long Beach, CA. She 
graduated from High School at age 16, attended college for 2 years, and taught 
music in the public schools for 2 years prior to entering the University of 
Oklahoma, completing a BFA degree in music in 1930. On June 5, 1932, she married 
Fay Thomas Anderson of Tulsa. As a member of Boston Avenue United Methodist 
Church, she served as President of the Women's Society of Christian Service 
(now United Methodist Women), organized the Victory Circle, and was a member 
of the Ephaphtha Sunday School Class for the hearing impaired until her move 
to California in 1994. Nola and her husband were married 56 years. She is 
survived by: a son, Thomas W. Anderson; 2 daughters, Sue Grofman and Carolyn 
Stenberg; 2 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will 
be conducted in the Rose Chapel, Boston Avenue United Methodist Church, Tulsa, 
at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2007. Private Interment will be at Memorial 
Park Cemetery, Tulsa.
