PONDER -- Helen "Maxine" , 77, passed away May 5, 2001 in Tulsa, OK. 
Born April 23, 1924 in Poplar Bluff, MO. Retired Manager for Red Devil. 
Lifetime member of VFW Auxiliary and American Legion Auxiliary. 
Preceded in death by husband, Hillis Ponder. Survived by: son, 
Hillis "Buddy" Ponder, Jr. and wife, Lorenda "Rendi" of Tulsa, OK; 
sister, Betty Lambert of Owasso; 2 granddaughters; 2 great-grandchildren; 
several nieces and nephews; and a great-niece. Buried in Poplar Bluff, MO
