Richard Alan Kirby
The funeral for Richard Alan Kirby will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday in 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Carmelo Mifsud will officiate. 
The graveside service will follow at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
Mr. Kirby, 53, of Central Point, died Wednesday (Oct. 13, 1999) at 
Rogue Valley Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 3, 1946, in Tulsa, Okla.
On Sept. 6, 1975, in Riverside, Calif., he married Terri Liggett, 
who survives. He moved to the
Rogue Valley from Riverside, Calif., in 1979.
Mr. Kirby was a telemarketer for Combined Transport in Central Point.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and received the Purple Heart in Vietnam.
Mr. Kirby was a member of the Catholic Church.
He enjoyed communicating with people, football and fishing.
Survivors include his mother, Jeanne Gorman, Enid, Okla.; a brother, 
Thomas, Broken Arrow,
Okla.; and a sister, Janet Cordell, Enid, Okla. He was preceded in death 
by his father, Fred C. Kirby.
