Mt. Echo Newspaper, Mar 23, 2000 issue (front page): Flippin man dies in 
two-vehicle accident: A 35-year-old Flippin resident, David G. Wilkes, 
was killed in a two-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon, March 19, 
on Hwy. 412 about five miles west of Huntsville in Madison County. 
The accident also claimed the life of an Oklahoma man and injured 
three people, including Wilkes' wife and son. According to an Associated
Press report, the vehicle in which Wilkes was riding crossed the center 
line on a curve and struck an oncoming pickup truck head-on. A passenger 
in the truck, 46-year-old Scott A. Sanditen of Tulsa, OK also died. 
The injured were identified as Donald Ray Craig, 49, of Tulsa, the 
driver of the pick-up; Glenna Jo Wilkes, 33 of Flippin; 
and 10-year-old K. Wilkes.
