G. SIGLER Was Long-Time Park School Custodian Adrian G. Sigler, 85, of 3646 S. 31st West ave., pioneer Tulsa and retired custodian at Park elementary school in Red Fork, died Wednesday night in a Tulsa hospital. He had been ill several years. Mr. Sigler came to Tulsa in 1905 and worked in the oil fields for a time before he became custodian at the Park school. He remained there 33 years and upon his retirement in 1947 he was recognized by the 6th grade graduating class and the school faculty with a gift of a gold wrist watch. Mr. Sigler and his wife Martha, observed their 58th wedding anniversary last Dec. 11. He was a native of Pierce City, MO., and lived at Joplin, Mo. before coming to Tulsa, Indian Territory. Other survivors include two sons, Cecil Sigler of the home and Frank Sigler, Fort Worth; two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Foltz, 1430 E. 36th pl., and Mrs. Pearl Schwarberg, Los Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. Grace Douglas, Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Pearl Waymire, Los Angeles; a brother, Leonard Sigler, Sherman Oaks, Calif; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are pending with Tulsa-Whisenhunt funeral home. Died February 27, 1957
