She was born January 19, 1914 in Wichita, Kansas, one of 16 children born to Thomas Boyd and Alta Mamie (Jordan) Mills. She worked as a riveter for Lockheed during World War II and helped build P-51 Mustangs and P-38 Lightning Bolts. She married Edward Dale Thrasher on July 26, 1937 in Yuma,AZ and established Thrasher's Carburetor Exchange. They operated this business together for many years and she continued it for several years after Dale's death on 3Oct1982. She is remembered as a very independent woman with a unique sense of humor. Her independence was shown when at age 70, she learned to drive! She is survived by: 1 brother,4 sisters,and numerous nieces and nephews. Rose Hill Cemetery
