Visitation: February 18, 2002 Service: February 20, 2002 Cemetery: Bixby Cemetery Lillie Marie Thrasher was born September 5, 1918 in Jenks, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of John Harvey and Pearl Jeanette Hilton. Lillie was raised and attended school in the Bixby/Leonard area. Upon completion of her schooling, Lillie was married to Eucellos Martin on December 19, 1938 in Bixby, Oklahoma. The couple made their home in Jenks and had four children, Harold, Norman, Jim and Joyce. Lillie worked for nearly sixteen years at the Tulsa Osteopathic Hospital. Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Eucellos, two sons, Harold Edward and Norman Ray Martin, three brothers and two sisters. Lillie was married to Floyd G. Thrasher on March 23, 1963 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They made their home in Tulsa until the mid 1980's when they moved to Glenpool. In 1990 the couple moved to Cleveland, Oklahoma. Floyd also preceded her in death on August 31, 1990. Lillie was member of the First Grace Church in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Additionally, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Tulsa, Ladies Auxiliary of the Veteran's of Foreign War and the Cleveland Garden Club. She was a past member of the Cleveland Rebekah Lodge. Lillie's hobbies include working in her yard, gardening and maintaining her home. She was extremely fond of spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lillie passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2002 at her home in Cleveland at the age of eighty-three years, five months and twelve days. She is survived by two children, Jim Martin, Jenks, Oklahoma and Joyce Teter, Cleveland, Oklahoma; sister, Pauline Hardin, Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Sherri Schuler, Cleveland, Oklahoma, Shelley Branch, Hominy, Oklahoma, Cindy Kell, Morris, Oklahoma and Norman R. Martin II, Jenks, Oklahoma; and six great- grandchildren, Chris and Chelsea Schuler, Shelby and Cody Branch, and Jacob and Emily Kell. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2002 at the Chapel of the Leonard-Marker Funeral Home in Bixby.
