She died July 13, in Salina, at the age of 91. McBroom grew up in Tulsa as Pentecostal. She was a homemaker. She had 15 brothers and sisters. She married Kenneth Lewis McBroom Dec. 18, 1939. They had eight daughters and three sons. She will be greatly missed by all her family. She took in everyone under her wing and was everyone’s grandma. There were three sets of a five generation family. She is survived by three sisters, Phelma Smith, Kansas, Erma Norris, Missouri, Bernadine Church, Temple City, Calif.; six daughters, Barbara Cordray, Red Bluff, Calif., Alta Hastings, Locust Grove, Sharon Ritz, Skiatook, Marsha Hasting, Turley, Mary and Tommy Collins, Locust Grove and Mina and Alan Schmitt, Locust Grove; three sons, Lewis and Sandy McBroom, Broken Arrow, Dale and Thea McBroom, Tulsa and Willie and Diane McBroom, Skiatook. She is survived by 65 grandchildren, 109 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth McBroom; five sisters, Irene, Crystal, Lavonne, Dannetta and Opal; seven brothers Bob, Boyd, Dutch, Verle, Ralph, Jim and Jordan; two daughters Bernice McBroom Richardson and Maryon Kay McBroom; six son-in-laws Don Booker, Ken Richardson, Marvin Hasting, Carl Ritz, Gene Hasting and Tommy Cordray, four grandsons Marvin Hasting Jr., Tony Booker, Roy Price and William Everett; one great- grandson Lee Jones; two great-granddaughters Nina Vance and Kelly Hasting. Graveside services are Friday, July 17, 10 a.m., at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday and Thursday at Moore’s Memory Chapel, 1403 S. Peoria, Tulsa.
